Live Fully

Let your life be a beautiful song.

Don't Believe in Me.

Pain. This world is full of it. We see it in hunger, wars, disease and hatred.

It is overwhelming to think about how much needs to be done. That there are so many people need to know love, health and happiness. There are a lot of broken people out there who I want to make whole.

But I am flawed. I can be selfish, rude, unkind, self-righteous, and judgmental. I am a small girl in a great big world. I fall down and make mistakes. I am far from perfect.

And for this reason I am asking you not to believe in me. I can’t change the world and I never will.

But Christ inside me can.

You see there was this guy named Jesus and He changed everything. They called him the prince of peace, the lord of lords, the alpha and omega, savior, comforter, and friend. They say He was God’s son and that He came to die for our sins.

Jesus was a radical, living out an epic story of incredible love. He healed the blind, caused the lame to walk, cast out demons, raised the dead to life, walked on water and preached of incredible love too wonderful for us to fully understand.

And He told me that I could do the same.

“I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these.”John 14:12

And I believe it. I believe that through my hands He will heal the sick. I believe that through my words He will bless the brokenhearted. I believe that through my feet He will see the nations reached.

You might call it crazy, but I call it Biblical.

So please don’t believe in me, because I can’t do much on my own.

Believe in the limitless possibilities of Christ in me.

I’m ready. I’m willing. I’m able.

So I go. Are you ready to see Christ change the world through a small girl like me?
